I havenโ€™t been around much lately โ€” and this i I havenโ€™t been around much lately โ€” and this is why. ๐Ÿ“– Iโ€™m 20,000 words into a brand new story. Some days it flows. Some days imposter syndrome pulls up a chair and makes itself comfortable. But I keep showing up anyway. Because the world needs what only I can make. And it needs what only you can make, too. So this is your reminder โ€” and mine โ€” to keep going.

First time playing Outside Hitter AND Middle Blocker, and while there were moments of uncertainty as she embraced the new, she absolutely loved every minute of it. Dancing off every miss and every win with her teammatesโ€”thereโ€™s something special about seeing our girl find her people and her place. So grateful for her coaches and team, who are teaching her to swing hard, shake off mistakes, trust her teammates, and have fun doing it all. I never thought Iโ€™d spend my weekends driving around to various parts of Californiaโ€“โ€“but Iโ€™m so thankful sheโ€™s loving it.

Iโ€™m equal parts, excited and terrified. But Iโ€™m learning thatโ€™s where the best stories begin, in that tender space between โ€œ I donโ€™t know if I canโ€ and โ€œ but what if I do?โ€ Hereโ€™s to showing up at the desk, trusting that the words will come, and believing that whatโ€™s in your heart is meant to be told. โœจ What story is stirring in your heart this year?
